Posted On: 09/13/2019 I've been going to NYFD for years now and don't see myself attending anywhere else.I recently started going to the Ave L location and I must say it's the best.The staff there are the nicest and the office is spotless. Dr Haddad did my root canal recently and it was my 1st time meeting him since I couldn't wait for an appt with my original dentist.He was simply amazing.He made sure I was not in pain and that I was well taken care of. Dr. Haddad and his assistant Nicole humored me and made the whole process less stressful and painful. They made sure i was very comfortable . I trusted Dr Haddad and the outcome was perfect. After the outstanding work he did with my tooth, I might just switch to being his patient permanently :). Overall everyone in that office is amazing.You guys rock :) Bella O

Posted On: 09/09/2019 This place is extremely excellent. Warm workers Annie, Doll, Nicole and Dr. Epstein is the BEST! I am deathly afraid of injections due to bad experiences. I had an extraction done and didn't feel a thing. Dr. Epstein is very patient!!

Posted On: 07/03/2019 The first two times I came her for cleaning; the hygienist cleaned my teeth in less than 5 minutes ( she didnt do a good job). My third and final time, my appointment was scheduled for 11am. 12:15 came and went and I hadnt been seen by the hygenist. This place is such a waste of time. I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because the techs are kind; hence why I kept returning for their services. But to be honest the service is piss poor and no amount of kind technicians will make me return. Petra A

Posted On: 06/27/2019 Awful!!! They gave me wrong information and said that my insurance won’t a bone Graft procedure when they do. They are just trying to get more money which is pure disgusting. The lady(Ana) told me that my insurance won’t cover filling or implant and they do. When I confronted Ana she stated that my insurance don’t cover bone grafts again and said she never said they didn’t cover fillings. I will not be going to that place again and won’t recommend these people. Ana act like she was nice and was helping me when she was just trying to get to my pocket. I asked to see a dentist and they didn’t allowed me to. Please find some other dental place. This place is a waste of time, don’t bother! Nalda A

Posted On: 06/10/2019 Honestly, I don't have words. This place is the most disgusting place to ever been seen at. I have been trying to schedule a follow up appointment to have my fillings done for over a month. The first time I was told that someone would call to schedule an appointment that never happened!!!! Then I get a letter from my insurance stating I've been approved for services I call them again to schedule an appointment. They asked me to email them the letter. Do you think I've gotten an appointment? Nope. The customer service people honestly seem like they are confused and don't know how to do their job. Please stay away from the office on Ave L. I've never had to beg a medical/dental for an appointment in my life! Sharayah S

He is very unprofessional and very aggressive and does not know what he is doing! Do not go here . It’s a new dentist every month, you cannot go back without having the same dentist ! Posted On: 11/20/2018 My husband went to because he couldn't eat from his tooth and he needed a crown. They asked us to come the next day thinking it was going to get fixed. I understand waiting for approval from the insurance to get a crown but we thought they would give him a temporary fix while wait for approval. The dentist did no work but fix two cavities that were not an issue to begin with. Didn't give a temporary fix for the tooth that won't let him eat.

I called to ask why they didn't give a temporary fix for the tooth the whole time the person on the phone saying we fixed the cavities. But he didn't come in for cavities he needs the tooth that is cracked open to be fixed. 'Oh let me check his records' is what kept being repeated and also 'I'm sorry I was looking at the wrong record'. So that alone tells me the staff is incompetent and negligent.

The dentist and employees advice is to eat soft food (puree) or on the opposite side of the mouth for the next month. Not in those words because the staff member on the phone didn't know to say opposite side of the mouth or puree food. I had to guess this part because he kept stuttering looking for the words to say. This was all but a frustrated phone call to understand why they decided to not give a temporary cap on his tooth so that the wait for insurance verification for the crown would not feel as long or painful. Posted On: 10/23/2018 This dentist is the worst place ever to come, the staff is rude and disrespectful. I had a 9:30 appointment show up 15 minutes prior to my appointment and was told I didn’t have appointment . Even though I was called to confirm my appointment and had my appointment card in hand that stated today 10-23 -2018 at 9:30 . The reception looked me in the face and blatantly lied stating no one called me to confirm . Then when I said well who gave me this card she we did then put her head down then, I said well something needs to be done because I took off just to come to the dentist today. I was told after take a seat he would see me after the person he was with but I would have to find a new dentist after this appointment . Which to me was hilarious after the mistake was made by you and your staff . Which inconvenience to me as I am a business owner as well . I said nothing disrespectful I did not raise my voice I stated the obvious and instead of me being accommodated I was told to find another dentist after today’s appointment . How professional that’s like someone coming into my place of business for a service I mess up the appointment or did something wrong and then I tell them don’t come back because I wasn’t professional enough to deal with the situation . It’s a joke but I should’ve listened to myself when I first came to this dentist they were very rude .I brushed it off but this is on unacceptable . It’s no biggie but definitely wouldn’t want other people coming to this dentist to be inconvenienced . Jahzin Da Loc D
